Our Business History

Michael Stegner, who retired in 2014, started representing clients in 1978, the year he graduated from law school. After 28 years as a partner in a local law firm, Mr. Stegner founded The Stegner Law Firm, LLC in 2006. His son, Jason Stegner, is now the sole member of the firm. His legal practice consists primarily of Social Security disability benefits cases. He also assists individuals with their estate planning needs, including preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Jason is licensed to practice law in the state courts of South Carolina. Most of his business is in the Midlands of South Carolina, including Chester, Kershaw, Lancaster, Lee, Richland, Sumter, and York Counties. The Stegner Law Firm, LLC welcomes your business.
